BPO/KPO

·         Undertake a regulatory impediments analysis of the BPO sector

·         Support efforts to enhance the policy advocacy capabilities of int@j

·         Support work with telecom and ICT providers to improve pricing and service packages

·         Prepare bylaws and instructions to implement “Bankruptcy & Insolvency Law”

·         Build  RIA and consultation process and Units (Regulations, instructions, Manuals)

·         Provide technical support to  RIA/ Consultation projects

·         Prepare new Legislative Standards and practices to draft local legislations

·         Build electronic registry and consultation portal

·         Implement advocacy program and facilitate development of research position papers at selected business associations

·         Launch a pilot project with business associations for “bottom-up” regulatory reform by preparing regulatory quality/doing business indicators

·         Launch a pilot “Doing Business” project at the municipal level with a target municipality

·         Work with Ministry of Planning to define support for improvement of national Doing Business indicators

·         Assist MOL in combining employment efforts done by different entities under a specialized employment body

·         Develop JE Strategy Map and BSC, training staff, and helping in implementation

CROs

·         Support development of oversight capacity for the Calibration requirements at the national level

·         Support creation of independent Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) in order to comply with GCP/ICH guidelines

·         Enhance legal environment and business approval process

Medical Services

·         Build the capacity of MOH for a strengthened hospital auditing and licensing system

·         Develop new public policies that will govern a national medical liability insurance framework

·         Support efforts to build advocacy capabilities of PHA, JNC and other bodies

A&E Services

·         Establish Guidelines related the adoption and implementation of Green building codes including rating systems for level II and related incentive scheme

·         Support establishment of a codes enforcement office at NBC

Clean Tech

·         Develop the capacity of ELD staff  and industry in identifying the BAT for pollution prevention

Overall Impacts/Outcomes

·         Reduced regulatory cost and risk to start up and operate a business
