LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES

SABEQ has made significant progress in implementing a variety of economic development and income-generating initiatives in our targeted municipalities—Irbid and Karak. In Year 4, SABEQ’s proposed activities in the Local Economic Development space will emphasize the implementation of pilot initiatives that track closely to our Priority Sectors and Enabling Activities and are aimed at generating incomes, alleviating poverty, proving new development concepts and creating sustainability.

The SABEQ team will also continue the implementation of selected activities initiated in the past to continue momentum and realize the economic impacts targeted.
